What is SpineRecover.com?
SpineRecover.com is a personal blog I created after undergoing L5-S1 spinal fusion surgery in October 2025. I’m sharing my recovery journey, experiences, and lessons learned — all from real, first-hand experience. The goal is to help others going through similar back issues or spine surgeries know what to expect, what helped me, and what didn’t.
Who runs this website?
My name is Dax, and I’m the founder and writer behind this blog. I’m not a doctor — just a real person who’s been through years of back pain, multiple surgeries, and finally an L5-S1 fusion that changed my life. Everything here comes from what I’ve personally experienced and learned along the way.
Is this website giving medical advice?
No. Everything I share is based on my personal journey and experience. It’s meant for informational and motivational purposes only.
I’m not a medical professional, and this site is not a substitute for medical care. Always talk to your doctor or surgeon before making decisions about your own treatment or recovery.
Can I contact you directly?
Yes! You can send me a message through our Contact Page — there’s a simple form right there. I do my best to reply when I can. You can also follow or message me on Facebook:

Do you earn money from this website?
Yes, sometimes. SpineRecover.com is part of the Amazon Associates Program, which means if you click one of my product links and buy something, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
I only link to things I actually used or truly believe in — like the ice pack wraps, bed rails, and walker that helped me after surgery.

Are your posts written by AI?
No. All the stories and experiences are written by me and others with real life experiences. I do sometimes use AI tools to help format or organize information — but everything about my surgery, pain, progress, and recovery comes directly from my real life. Nothing is made up or rewritten by a robot.
Can I share your articles?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to share links to my posts on social media, forums, or with friends who might benefit. Please don’t copy or repost entire articles — just share the link instead. That helps others find the original source and keeps the content accurate.
Why did you start this blog?
After years of being dismissed by doctors and finally finding a surgeon who listened, I realized there were thousands of people like me — struggling, scared, and unsure what spine surgery recovery is really like.
This site was created to give honest insight, hope, and support from someone who’s living it, not just talking about it.
How can I support the site?
Simple — share it! Every time someone new visits or clicks an article, it helps the site grow. You can also support it by using the Amazon links when buying products I recommend. It costs you nothing extra but helps me keep writing and updating my recovery journey.
Is there a Facebook group or community?
Right now, the best way to connect is through our official page:
👉 SpineRecover on Facebook
As the community grows, I may start a private Facebook group where others can share their stories, tips, and support one another.
Recovery from spine surgery isn’t easy, but you don’t have to go through it alone. I built this space to share real stories, helpful tools, and honest encouragement. Whether you’re in pain, recovering, or supporting someone who is — you’re welcome here.
